‘Fearless Girl’ statue moved away from Wall Street’s ‘Charging Bull’

No bull — “Fearless Girl” is off to meet a new neighbor.

The famed statue of the defiant young girl was removed from her spot staring down Wall Street’s “Charging Bull” Tuesday night — and will be installed in her new home in front of the New York Stock Exchange by the end of the year, officials said Wednesday.

A plaque bearing two shoe prints now marks the sassy statue’s old location, reading: “Fearless Girl is on the move to the New York Stock Exchange. Until she’s there, stand for her.”

The 4-foot bronze icon was first installed on Broadway in March 2017 as an International Women’s Day marketing stunt for financial services company State Street Global Advisors, which claimed it was supposed to encourage corporations to put more women on their boards.
