Law School used to be semi affordable, and if you were half way competent you could get a decent job. ABA today wants to restrict the number of new lawyers to protect the fees earned by current ABA members. They’ve forced states to require that you attend a very expensive school if you want to get a license. They’ve prevented people from attending law school on-line, and they’ve forced up costs using every trick they can think of.
I’ve long wanted to go to law school. I was just too busy making a living to go back in the day when it was semi affordable. Now, I’d still like to go – not to make a living, but to learn Constitutional law so I can accurately assess the antics of so many idiot politicians who clearly have no clue. But I’ll never be able to afford it!
