It’s not surprising, but it is regrettable, that hiring managers and HR professionals appear to be on a neverending ego trip.

Their treatment of job candidates of late leaves much to be desired in the way of common courtesy and simple professional manners. We know that they don’t have time to respond to all of the resumes that they receive, but their correspondence with candidates they are interested in displays a remarkable lack of understanding.
