UBS Whistleblower Released From Prison

Bradley Birkenfeld, the former UBS AG executive who exposed the giant Swiss bank’s efforts to help U.S. taxpayers hide money in secret offshore accounts, was released from prison Wednesday.
Mr. Birkenfeld served nearly 30 months of a 40-month sentence in Schuylkill County Federal Correctional Institution in Minersville, Pa., and received mandatory “good-time” credits. He was released to a halfway house in New Hampshire.
