MSRB Quarterly Meeting July 2012 Decisions

On Jul. 30, the MSRB announced key issues and proposed rulemaking discussed at its quarterly meeting, and appointed new board officers for 2013.

•Follows MSRB quarterly meeting on July 25-27, when evaluated issues on municipal market.

•Review use of indices in municipal market, in response to concerns about integrity of LIBOR.

•Determine indices used, ensure they are fair and transparent and develop educational materials
