The primary focus of the role is to support and manage the regulatory compliance functions across LeapFrog.
Process management support including KYC and AML checks; oversight of documentation with service providers, record keeping and filing.
Regulatory compliance support
Manage external service providers and internal processes to ensure smooth compliance with applicable securities regulation including the MAS in Singapore, the FCA in the UK, and other regulators internationally.
Implementation support for Immigration and Employment Law, and internal HR policies
Manage external service providers and internal processes to ensure compliance with immigration requirements in the UK and Singapore (and elsewhere as required), and support on implementation of employment laws (e.g. pension schemes)
Manage the implementation of internal policies around matters like securities trading policies, AML and ABC measures, travel safety policies etc.
Timetable management for tax compliance (e.g. return filing, audit completion, transfer pricing studies), and support on and management of external service providers for FATCA compliance. The substance of financial reports will generally be generated by the finance function.
Management of external corporate secretarial service providers to ensure compliance with corporate filing and compliance requirements.
Additional similar roles as may arise in the operations of the LeapFrog Group which functions across the world with a small administrative staff.
University undergraduate degree
Degree or diploma in compliance or related field such as audits, or para legal qualifications
At least 5 – 7 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably in an investment firm or administrative firm
Para legal / corporate secretarial experience in multinational organisations
Ability to project manage complex processes spanning teams based in diverse locations
Familiarity with legal and compliance process management
Capacity to master and respond to unfamiliar regulatory regimes in a variety of countries.
Superb relationship-building skills and professionalism
Experienced in anticipating process stress points and advance planning
Ability to adapt to dynamic deal requirements and adjust internal processes to meet those requirements
